{"id":521,"date":"2016-10-14T08:22:16","date_gmt":"2016-10-14T07:22:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.biohabitat.it\/dal-bosco-casa-tua\/?lang=en"},"modified":"2016-10-20T14:40:36","modified_gmt":"2016-10-20T13:40:36","slug":"from-the-tree-to-your-house","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.biohabitat.it\/en\/from-the-tree-to-your-house\/","title":{"rendered":"From the tree to your house"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>One of the main interest of the persons who undertake the building of a wooden house, is to know the origin of the timber used for constructing the walls.<\/p>\n<p>This interest, that confirms the growing environmental sensibility of our clients, has always been a fundamental care for us.<\/p>\n<p>For this reason we\u2019ve chosen an exclusive supplier of row material: the company Sarner Holz from Sarentino (Bolzano \u2013 Italy).<\/p>\n<p>Sarner Holz has the certification PEFC (Programme for Endorsement of Forest Certification) that promotes good practice in the forest and ensures that timber and non-timber forest products are produced with respect for the highest ecological, social and ethical standards, and the certification FSC (Forest Stewardship Council), that promotes worldwide environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial, and economically viable management of the forests.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, Sarner Holz and Biohabitat share in their missions respect for people and the need to establish relationships totally transparent and trusting with their clients, in the conviction that, only with this basis, it is possible pursue the professional and human growth.<\/p>\n<p>As proof of this, the two companies have jointly created a procedure that allows Biohabitat to provide its customers with a certification of origin of the timber used for the construction of the walls. This certification certifies, as well as the aforementioned sustainable management of the forests of origin of the timber, the area (municipality, town ) and the date of cut of timber.
